The NEET 19-24 programme is designed to support youngsters aged 19-24 into employment via advice, guidance and Level 2/Level 3 qualifications/Apprenticeship pathways.
This programme is aimed to provide packages of support to young adults Not in Education, Employment or Training (NEET) in order to enable them to go back on the journey to formal skills training and employment. It is aimed at engaging the local NEET group to get them ready for work, progress to Apprenticeship or continue in education and training. This project is an opportunity to focus on increasing 19-24 NEET participation, entry to labour market and support for individuals so that they can progress to an Apprenticeship programme or other Level 2 forms of training.
This particular programme is taking place at Selby Centre and involves both classroom based training and one-to-one support

- Aged between 19-24
- Cannot hold Level 2 qualification or above
- Must not be in Education, Employment or Training
- IAG (1st Day)
- Unit qualifications (Motivation Building, Writing a CV, Preparing for Interviews, Searching for Jobs, Completing Job Applications, Group Work, Personal Presentation)
- Full Level 2 qualification (ICT) – Diploma in ICT Systems Support (QCF) – 3-4 months
- Full Level 3 (ICT) – Diploma in ICT Systems and Principles for IT Professionals (QCF) – 6-8 months
- Retail qualification
