This hands-on training VCAP course is for VMware vSphere professionals who are VCP certified. The Optimize and Scale course teaches the advanced skills for configuring, troubleshooting and maintaining highly available and scalable vSphere environments based ESXi 5.5 & VMware vCenter Server 5.5.
This course will prepare you for the VMware Certified Advanced Professional (VCAP) – Datacenter Administration certification.
We are a VMware IT Academy; completion of this course also satisfies the prerequisite for taking the VMware Certified Professional 5 exam.
VMware Management Resources:

- Explain ballooning, memory compression, and host swapping techniques for memory reclamation when memory is overcommitted

Virtual Machine and Cluster Optimization:
- Describe performance guidelines for virtual machines, resource allocation settings, VMware vSphere® Distributed Resource Scheduler™ clusters, resource pools, and VMware vSphere®

Host and Management Scalability:
- Explain VMware vSphere® Distributed Power Management™
- Use Host Profiles to manage ESXi configuration compliance
