A traineeship is a programme for those aged 16-24 that prepares you for work or an apprenticeship through basic qualifications along with work experience. You will gain combined training comprised of the following, alongside the possibility of sustainable employment:
- English and Maths
- High quality work placement
- Work preparation training (including soft skills e.g. CV Building, Interview Skills, Confidence Building)

This project is highly recommended for those who are:
- Are not in a job or have little or no work experience
- Have not yet achieved a Level 3 qualification
- Committed to finding employment or progressing onto an Apprenticeship
5E Ltd will provide you with:
– High quality work placements (ranging from 6 weeks – 5 months) with a guaranteed interview on completion of the work placement. This is a chance for you to gain meaningful work experience and develop workplace skills
– Non-Accredited Work preparation training e.g. CV writing, interview preparation, job search skills and how to better develop interpersonal and social skills
– Accredited English and Maths training: Functional Skills (unless learner holds GCSE A-C level)
– Optional vocational courses/career guidance/enterprise skills etc.
Maximum 6 months (300 overall hours)
